Lake Ray Roberts has some great largemouth bass fishing. I fish one or two people from my Triton bass boat. I can show you lots of good places to fish and how to navigate the lake from 26 years fishing on Ray Roberts.
We fish for blue cat and channel cat. Your choice. We catch tons of sandbass too.
Hello, I'm Everett Reynolds. I am a full time licensed Lake Ray Roberts fishing guide. I've been an avid fisherman all my life and still enjoy the sport as much now as when I was a child. Whether we fish for a trophy largemouth or a limit of crappie for the frying pan, I want to make your fishing trip a memory you won't soon forget.
I have fished Lake Ray Roberts since opening day in 1990 and know the spots to put you on fish. I have been guiding on Ray Roberts since 2001. At Ray Roberts, I consistently boat crappie, largemouth bass, catfish and sand bass in good numbers. I want you to enjoy your fishing as much as I enjoy fishing. Whether a beginner or an old pro, I want you to have fun and catch the big one in the process.
Whether its largemouth, crappie, catfish, or sandies, each species of game fish requires skills and techniques that I will teach you. For the beginners, I will teach you old and new techniques to improve your fishing skills. You will also learn new areas of the lake and the routes to get to them in a boat. I am available all year and offer a 6-8 hour trip in the bass boat or pontoon.
We fish for largemouth, crappie, white bass and catfish. I try to put you on the fish of your choice or whatever is biting the best at the time. The main thing is to get out on the lake and catch some fish.

Lake Ray Roberts is in great shape this year. As of this writing, the lake is
.75 above normal pool. Surface temp is still right at 50 degrees. Looks like warmer water is on the way. The largemouth are really starting to turn on for the spawn. They should go shallow with a few warm days. The sand bass are fat and easy to catch. Blue cats are getting better too. Crappie are being caught in the creeks. Mid-April is usually when I start crappie fishing on Roberts. I also book trips on Lavon and Tawakoni for blue cats. Check out our photos and rates.
